Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing apparatus, a sheet production apparatus, a processing method and a method for producing a sheet capable of sufficiently removing foreign matters contained in a sheet-like material.SOLUTION: There is provided a processing apparatus 1 which comprises: a flocculation part 6 for flocculating foreign matters contained in a sheet-like material M1 by applying a liquid CP containing a cationic polymer to the sheet-like material M1 containing fibers; and a removal part 5 for removing an agglomerate generated by the flocculation part 6 from the sheet-like material M1. There is provided a processing method in which the liquid CP preferably is a solution of the cationic polymer and the cationic polymer preferably contains amine in the repeated structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
