Abstract:
To provide a processing device that can easily fasten a tool holder to a rotating shaft by hand without a double shear and reduce wind noise.SOLUTION: The processing device comprises: a rotating shaft 2 having a female screw 21 formed at a tip in a shaft direction; a tool holder 3 having a grindstone 5 fixed to a tip side thereof and having a male screw 31 to be screwed into the female screw 21 formed at a base end side thereof, which is fixed to the rotating shaft 2 by fastening of the male screw 31 to the female screw 21; and a fluid pressure spacer 4 provided in the rotating shaft 2. The liquid pressure spacer 4 has: a liquid pressure chamber; a piston that applies pressure to the liquid pressure chamber by being moved outward in a radial direction by centrifugal force generated by rotation of the rotating shaft 2; and an annular pressing member with elasticity positioned outside in the radial direction of the male screw 31 and the female screw 21 in the base end part of the tool holder 3. When the pressure is applied to the liquid pressure chamber, the pressing member expands and deforms in a direction of the tip to press the tool holder 3, and imparts axial force to the male screw 31 and the female screw 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
