The finishing shape FSHP of a screw thread is evaluated from processing data such as the number of starts of a screw, a lead, screw thread height TH, and the position TLIN of a threading processing part, etc. stored in a program memory, and from tool data such as the shape TSHP of the tool cutting edge stored in a tool information memory, and indicated on a processing part position. Accordingly, the check of a screw thread shape, etc., as well as the finding of errors of a program are facilitated.
