Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of comparatively easily micronizing a particulate matter to a micron level or a nano level, the micronizing to that level having been impossible by a conventional method using a mill, and to provide a method for using water containing a produced micronized matter.SOLUTION: A particulate matter is micronized by making two water streams 34 collide with each other at least one of which contains the particulate matter. Since both the water streams collide with each other at a velocity equal to the sum of velocities of both the water streams, the impact amounts to several times to a dozen or more times an impact produced when a single water stream collides with a stationary face. Each water stream is thus imparted with a maximum impact to micronize the particulate matter in the water stream.
