Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output an analog signal by converting the input analog signal into a digital signal at once and then restoring the digital signal into an analog signal. SOLUTION: In the case that the processing unit is used for a full wave rectifier circuit, a comparator stage 1, an inverter stage including transistors(TRs) 2, 3, an exclusive OR stage 4, and an averaging stage 5 are provided. Then the comparator stage 1 receives an input analog signal at a noninverting input port 6 and a ramp signal at an inverting input port 7, and outputs an amplitude modulation pulse signal, which is fed to gate electrodes of the TRs 2, 3. The logic stage 4 receives an output of the TR inverter stage at a 1st input port and receives a clock pulse at a 2nd input port 8. An output of the logic stage 4 is given to the averaging stage 5, where the signal is integrated with respect to time and outputted to an out port 9 as an analog signal. The circuit having other function is configured by adding components.
