Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drastically suppress the generation of secondary waste and increase the processing speed of decomposing organism in the case using ozone.
SOLUTION: Radioactive washing waste liquid is supplied to a waste liquid heating tank 16. Hydrogen peroxide is supplied from a hydrogen peroxide tank 22 and alkali solution is supplied from an alkali solution tank 25 to the waste liquid heating tank 16. The pH of the radioactive washing waste liquid is controlled to 7 or more by the alkali solution. The radioactive washing waste liquid is heated to 50°C or higher by a heating device 4. The heated radioactive washing waste liquid is introduced to aerators 2A and 2B. Ozone is supplied from an ozone generator 1 and an ozone gas discharge piece 3A to the aerator 2A. Ozone exhausted from the aerator 2A is introduced from the ozone gas discharge piece 3B to an aerator 2B. The liquid is heated over 50°C under the existence of hydrogen peroxide, soluble quantity of ozone to the radioactive washing waste liquid increases and the producing quantity of hydroxyradical increased.
