To provide a low replenishment processing method for a silver halide photographic sensitive material in which a developing solution does not substantially contain a borate, variation of performance (lowering of sensitivity) in long-term use is slight and little crystallized matter is formed.
In the processing method for a silver halide photographic sensitive material having at least one hydrophilic colloidal layer on the base and containing monodisperse acrylic polymer particles having carboxyl groups and 1-20% CV (relative standard deviation) value in the at least one hydrophilic colloidal layer, the sensitive material is processed with a developing solution not substantially containing a borate, containing 0.05-0.4 mol/l sulfite and having reductones to dihyroxybenzenes molar ratio of 0.05-0.8.
