With the steel pipe 1 clamped by clamping means 10A, 10B, the steel pipe is cut by the combined operation of the lateral movement and elevating movement of cutting blade bodies 51A, 51B directed to the steel pipe, and subsequently beveling is performed for the cut end face 2 by the combined operation of the lateral movement and the elevating movement of the beveling blade bodies 53A, 53B replaced with the cutting blade bodies and directed to the steel pipe. In one portion, after the steel is cut by the cutting blade bodies to form a cut end face, beveling 3 can be performed for the cut end face by the beveling blade bodies. Thus, the manufacturing line is shortened to reduce the fully occupying area, and further only a clamping means coping with the processing means will suffice, so that it is expected to reduce the equipment in size and price.
