To provide the two-way broadcast system in which reply information from a viewer is sent without causing congestion in a telephone line and a load for processing of reply information by a broadcast station side is relieved.
A viewer sends reply information with respect to a two-way program via a telephone line 31. An area exchange system 32 receives a communication request when the communication request corresponds to a reception telephone number of reply information of a 2-way program. Then succeeding reply information is received, decoded and stored temporarily. The area exchange system 32 conducts processing such as evaluation, selection, extraction, classification and collection for lots of unspecified reply information sets stored tentatively based on information having been served in advance. The processing result is collected by an area exchange management system 33 and the collected processing results are evaluated, selected, extracted, classified and collected as required anywhere and the result is sent to a broadcast station 10.
