Abstract:
To provide a method of reducing a recovery loss of small particle size ore, by efficiently separating/recovering the small particle size ore containing valuable metals remaining in a large particle size ore sieved by a predetermined particle size, in a pretreatment process of a wet smelting process having a low quality nickel oxide ore as a raw material.SOLUTION: The present invention is a method for preparing an ore slurry for acid leaching treatment in a wet smelting process of a nickel oxide ore, comprises the sieving steps S11, 21 for sieving the nickel oxide ore at a predetermined particle size, water granulation steps S12 and 22 for obtaining the ore slurry by water granulating ore divided on the small particle size side, and cleaning and separation step S13, S23 for preparing the ore slurry by separating the ore of the predetermined particle size or smaller by applying a cleaning treatment to the ore slurry. In the cleaning and separation step S13, S23, a slurry S attached to the ore exceeding the separated predetermined particle size is integrated and recovered, and the slurry S is used as a part of water granulation water, or a part of the cleaning water.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
