Abstract:

To improve total productivity by effectively utilizing usage state of an image forming process and a post process.

Received jobs are processed in a received order. If a printing process is received after a job of an in-line process is received, heat processing time of paste by a temperature adjusting device 64D is required in the post processing unit 14 in the in-line process, and the process cannot be started and is standby, during the heat processing time. The printing process having no processing in the post processing unit 14 can be processed during this standby time. Therefore, jobs are switched by totally controlling the heating time by the temperature adjusting device 64D according to the types and processing time of the received jobs so as to shorten the processing time of the jobs relative to that before the switching.
