To provide a processing system and method for semi-finished coils, which can scrap swiftly and effectively, and easily and quickly produce plate products able to be sold outside the company.

The processing system and method is provided with a rotary loading equipment 3 arranged near to a hot rolling mill line having an intermediate coiler which winds or rewinds a sheet bar between a rough rolling mill and a finish rolling mill, and loads rotably a semi-finished coil 2 which is produced in the intermediate coiler and transferred, a peeler 5 which is located down the rotary loading equipment and inserts a tilting body into the tip C of the semi-finished coils, to release the winding state of the coil a leveler pinch roll unit 7 which can straighten out the curled semi-finished coils rewound down the peeler while carrying, and a cutting unit 8 which cuts the semi-finished coils located between the peeler and the leveler pinch roll unit and rewound, to a designated L1 of the scrap S1.
