Abstract:
Provided are a treatment system and a treatment method for waste lithium ion batteries with which a heating treatment can be made more efficient, and large-size waste lithium ion batteries can be subjected to the heating treatment without being disassembled. An example of a treatment system for waste lithium ion batteries according to the present invention comprises a heating device (2) that subjects waste lithium ion batteries to a heating treatment at a heating temperature of below 400 DEG C in order to decompose and remove an electrolytic solution included in the waste lithium ion batteries.
