Abstract:
To determine a time waveform of an excitation signal that can reduce the iron loss in a motor while suppressing a decrease in the calculation accuracy and an increase in the calculation time.SOLUTION: As a model of a motor M for determining a target signal waveform, a simplified motor model M' in which all or some of components of a rotor are simplified with respect to an actual motor M is adopted. A target signal waveform determining device 100 derives the target signal waveform that minimizes the iron loss of the stator of the simplified motor model M' as an optimum value of the target signal waveform by deriving the distribution of the magnetic flux density and the eddy current density in the plate thickness direction of a stator core in the simplified motor model M' when the stator core of the simplified motor model M'is excited by the target signal waveform. A drive device 700 operates an inverter circuit such that an excitation voltage of the optimum value of the target signal waveform is applied to a stator coil of the motor M.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
