PURPOSE: To obtain an insecticidal textile material excellent in resistance to washing by perfectly or partially covering threads forming a woven cloth or a nonwoven fabric with an adhesive polymer including an insecticidally active substance.

CONSTITUTION: This insecticidal textile material excellent in resistance to washing is obtained by impregnating a composition comprising an adhesive polymeric substance (e.g.; polystyrene, shellac or the like) containing insecticidally active substance (e.g. a pyrethroid, carbamate, organophosphorus compound or the like), into the threads forming a woven cloth or a nonwoven fabric such as natural textile like cotton, raffia, jute, flax or the like or synthetic textiles or the like and forming a coating film of the resin.
