To provide a processing tool, a groove processing device, an elevator system and a groove processing method which can suppress the occurrence of clogging.SOLUTION: A groove processing method according to the present disclosure comprises: an attachment step of attaching a processing tool having a shaft body having a first shaft, a grinding body provided in the shaft body, rotating together with the shaft body when the shaft body rotates around the first shaft, and for grinding a groove, and a discharge body rotating together with the shaft body when the shaft body rotates around the first shaft and provided in the shaft body so as to contact a grinding portion of the groove prior to the grinding body when the grinding body grinds the groove, to a groove processing device at an angle at which the grinding body and the discharge body contact the surface of the groove in the grinding processing of the groove; a rotation step of rotating a sheave in the direction heading toward the grinding body from the discharge body; and a processing step of grinding the groove by using the groove processing device after the attachment step and the rotation step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
