PURPOSE: To obtain a paper sheet supplying device which can eliminate a fall accident of a paper sheet, etc., even in the case the device is operated at a high speed.

CONSTITUTION: In the paper sheet, etc., processor for supplying many pieces of paper sheets, etc., in a laminated state to a taking-out means by a paper sheet, etc., supplying means 1A, taking out the paper sheet, etc., by one piece each by this taking-out means and executing a prescribed processing, the paper sheet, etc., supplying means 1A is provided with a paper sheet, etc., carrying part for containing and carrying many pieces of paper sheets, etc., in a laminated state, a holding member 45 arranged so as to be turnable in the vicinity of this paper sheet, etc., carrying part, and a holding member turning mechanism part 4 for allowing the holding member 45 to abut onto the upper face of the paper sheet, etc., until the paper sheet, etc., are contained, and thereafter, supplied to the taking-out means by interlocking with a carrying operation of the paper sheet, etc., carrying part. According to this constitution, a fall on the way of carrying the paper sheet, etc., can be prevented surely, the processing capacity is improved, and the processing can be executed at a high speed.
