PURPOSE: To obtain an automatic developing machine for photosensitive planographic printing plate capable of decreasing the consumption of processing solution without impairing processing performance.
CONSTITUTION: The lower part of a lower roller between carrying rollers 52 and 53 is housed in a pan 62. The pan 62 is provided with a 1st tank 64, a 2nd tank 66 and an intermediate tank 68. Washing water which drops from the discharge port of a spray pipe 56 and finishes washing the surface of a PS plate 12 flows in from both ends in the longitudinal direction of the 2nd tank 66, flows out to the intermediate tank 68 from a notched part in the center part in the longitudinal direction, and overlows to the 1st tank 64 from the notched parts at both ends of the intermediate tank 68, then is discharged from the notched part in the center part of the 1st tank 64. The washing water is not retained in the pan 62, and the comparatively fresh water processing only the surface of the PS plate 12 is reserved, and also the comparatively dirty water processing the back surface of the PS plate 12 is rapidly discharged. The rollers 52 and 53 are supported by a sub side plate and attached to/detached from the side plate in a state where they are unitized, so that the pan 62 is also easily attached/detached.
