Abstract:
To provide a new kind of bean jam using corn as an inexpensive raw material.
This bean jam is obtained by soaking corn berries in water and letting the berries absorb water followed by boiling or steaming. Sugar, corn starch and starch syrup are each added as an auxiliary material to the product. The bean jam is produced by the production method same as that of Azuki-bean (red bean) jam using an existing bean jam making machine.
