Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a wheel while simplifying the structure of a metallic mold.
SOLUTION: In the wheel provided with respective rim flanges 4, 4 at both ends in the width direction of a rim in the rim part 2 composed of single or plural members, after extrusion-forming at least one of the rim flanges 4 into a belt-state with an extrusion-forming device, the belt-state body 4H cut to a prescribed length is rounded as an annular state and also, both ends are joined to constitute the rim flange. The rim flange 4 constituted in such a way, is fitted to the above rim part 2 to produce the wheel.
