Abstract:
To enable high-accuracy and low-cost manufacturing of a product containing silicon carbide as a main component by a powder bed molten bonding method.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a product containing silicon carbide as a main component includes a step of placing a raw material powder and a step of applying a laser beam to the raw material powder, which are run plural times. The raw material powder contains silicon carbide of 95 mol% or over. In the step of applying the laser beam to the raw material powder, the laser beam is applied in a manner that the silicon carbide powder is decomposed to silicon and carbon and the silicon or the carbon becomes a molten liquid.SELECTED DRAWING: None
