To provide a decision and support technology for a product design parameter for efficiently deciding multiple design parameters without any hand-return in product development wherein a great number of design parameters and production functions are handled and interaction occurs between them.
In this decision method of the design parameters in this product design parameter decision support system, interaction between the product functions and the design parameters is structured, a design parameter group with less interaction is extracted, an experiment plan based on the design parameter group is created, modeling of the degree of quality influence between the product functions and the design parameters is carried out from the experiment result, and optimization processing of the design parameters and estimation of the production functions is carried out with consideration on dispersion of products.
