PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product life cycle information management system allowing access to a database having highly reliable information from an optional position on a network by use of a product ID.
SOLUTION: This product life cycle information management system is provided with the network, an information writable storage medium attached to an object, and the database connected to the network and storing written information written in the storage medium. The storage medium has a key. The database is unlocked by using the key to store the written information, and when the storage of the written information is finished, the database is locked. A product life cycle is managed by the product life cycle information management system.
