Abstract:
To provide a commodity sales data processing device and a program that are capable of executing commodity sales processing corresponding to revision of a tax exemption system.SOLUTION: A commodity sales data processing device comprises: tax exemption declaration means for performing declaration of a tax exemption transaction in sales registration processing; determination means for determining whether commodities to which the sales registration processing is applied before the declaration and commodities whose commodity identification information is input after the declaration are nontaxable commodities or not by referring to tax exemption classification in a commodity master file in response to the declaration of the tax exemption transaction by the tax exemption declaration means; addition means for adding up registered prices of the nontaxable commodities as a nontaxable price when the determination means has determined that they are the nontaxable commodities; reference price determination means for determining whether the nontaxable price added up by the addition means satisfies a predetermined reference price; and tax exemption means for performing tax exemption processing for exempting tax placed on the nontaxable price when the reference price determination means has determined that the nontaxable price satisfies the reference price.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
