Abstract:

To allow for easily turning a printer to a user side according to the usage conditions.SOLUTION: A commodity sales data processor includes a clerk scanner part, a customer scanner part, a change machine turned to a customer side, a clerk display part and a customer display part for displaying registered commodity information, a printer for issuing a receipt at the time of settlement, and a rotation mechanism 30 for selectively rotating the printer to one of the clerk side and the customer side. The rotation mechanism 30 can integrally rotate a spacer 32 and a rotor 36 which are provided in a support plate 25 and a support base 24 to which the printer is fixed. An arm part 37a of the rotor 36 is absorbed by a first stopper part 39 provided on the support base 24 so that the printer is turned to and stopped at a customer side, and an arm part 37b is absorbed by a second stopper part 40 so that the printer is turned to and stopped at a clerk side. The first stopper part 39 and the second stopper part 40 also serve as a first sensor part and a second sensor part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
