To solve the problem with performing transactions in a web environment: that performing transactions in a web environment on the same scale as the trading of commodities based on printed catalogues and purchase applications is difficult in regard to the replacement period of commodities and the number of commodities that can be handled, with many barriers imposed on those doing the business and those doing purchase as users, in terms of utilizing electronic equipment.
In a Web environment, a distributor computerizes usual printed matter and maintains familiar images of printed matter in a server. A user and purchaser can do shopping more easily than ever by simply referring an electronic catalogue containing images of printed matter from a web terminal, and clicking (designating) a commodities on the terminal for web shopping in place of using a purchase application. The trader as the distributor maintains the electronic catalogue compiled on the basis of a printed catalogue which serves as a source of information. Performing transactions while operating the server with the purchase application replaced by a web shopping bag increases operational efficiency to maintain and provide better services.
