Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product storing facility in which a fire occurred in products may be quickly extinguished if a fire occurs in product and labor for maintenance may be reduced.SOLUTION: A product storing facility comprises a transporting device A transporting products from a storing rack into a fire extinguishing container 23 and a fire extinguishing device E2 extinguishing a fire occurring in the products in the fire extinguishing container 23. The transporting device A is so constructed that, after occurrence of a fire in products stored in the storing rack, the transporting device A may transport the products from the storing rack into the fire extinguishing container 23 of the fire extinguishing device E2. The fire extinguishing device E2 is so constructed that after occurrence of a fire in products stored in the storing rack, oxygen concentration in the fire extinguishing container 23 is shifted to a lower oxygen state compared to the state before occurrence of the fire in the products.
