Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the yield of anthraquinone dyestuff by employing a compound for the synthesis of the dyestuff.
CONSTITUTION: A method for producing 1-amino-4-bromo-anthraquinone-2-sulfonic acid sodium salt for synthesizing anthraquinone dyestuffs is characterized by thermally treating 1-amino-4-bromo-anthraquinone-2-sulfonic acid sodium salt to control the equilibrium water content of the chemical substance at the ordinary temperature to 3-4%.
