Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a high-quality compound in an inexpensive production cost and a higher yield than that in a conventional method by using an inexpensive catalyst or a catalyst capable of being readily recovered.
CONSTITUTION: 2-Acetylamino-6-chloropurine is obtained by suspending 2,9- diacetylguanine or 2-acetylguanine in a polar and inert solvent, reacting the compound with phosphorus oxychloride in the presence of a tertiary amine insoluble in water and ammonium chloride or a tertiary amine hydrochloride and then hydrolyzing the reactional product.
