Abstract:
To economically obtain 2-fluorocyclopropylaminesulfonate and 2- fluorocyclopropylisocyanate.
This method produces 2-fluorocyclopropylaminesulfonate, antipodally pure as adequate, by (A) first converting 2- fluorocyclopropylcarboxylate as the stock into the corresponding acid chloride or bromide, (B) reacting the product of the step A with an azide in the presence of a solvent, and (C) saponifying 2-fluorocyclopropylisocyanate as the product of the step B with water in the presence of sulfonic acid. 2- fluorocyclopropylisocyanate as the intermediate is a novel compound.
