CONSTITUTION: This compound of formula I (R1 is an alkylcarbonyl, arylcarbonyl, alkoxycarbonyl, aryloxycarbonyl, alkylsulfonyl or arylsulfonyl; R2 is an alkylamino, arylamino, aryloxy or hydroxyl; (n) is 0 or 1; X1 is a halogen) is obtained by halogenating a compound of formula II with a 1,3- dihalo-5,5-dimethylhydantoin (e.g. 1,3-dichloro-5,5-dimethylhydantoin) in an organic solvent other than a halogen-based one (e.g. toluene, ethyl acetate) at e.g. 15-30°C.
