PURPOSE: To improve resin impregnating properties, abrasion resistance of a decorative layer and sharpness of a printing pattern by improving the crosslinked structure of the melamine resin forming the decorative layer of a melamine resin decorative panel not only to plasticize the decorative layer but also to improve the miscribility of the resin with an abrasion resistance imparting agent.

CONSTITUTION: 10 pts.wt. of crystalline cellulose and l-2 pts.wt. of fine powder silicic anhydride with a specifric surface area of 150-200m2/g are added to 100 pts.wt. of melamine resin varnish obtained by adding 1.2-1.5mol of aldehydes and 0.1mol or more of para-toluenesulfonamide to 1mol of melamine to resinify all of them to prepare a resin solution which is, in turn, infiltrated in decorative raw paper and the obtained melamine resin impregnated decorative paper 1, phenol resin impregnated paper 2 and melamine resin impregnated warp preventing paper 3 are superposed one upon another to be subjected to hot pressure molding.
