Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide highly active chaff ash having high amorphous rate.
CONSTITUTION: A hollow stage 16 having many small holes 17 impenetrable for chaff is placed on a flat concrete bed 10, a chimney 18 communicating with the inside of the stage 16 is stood on this stage, and the stage 16 is embedded with chaff to provide a conical chaff stack 19 around the chimney. The chaff around the small holes 17 is then ignited to spontaneously burn the chaff to incinerate it to produce smoked coal and convert it into ash.
