Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an aliphatic diamine in high yield in an industrially advantageous single stage reaction process from an aliphatic dialdehyde as a raw material.
CONSTITUTION: This aliphatic diamine can be obtained by reaction of a corresponding aliphatic dialdehyde with ammonia and hydrogen in a solvent in the presence of a nickel catalyst supported on an inorganic oxide.
