Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily obtain the title compound both in high conversion rate and high yield through a novel reaction by reacting an α,β-unsaturated amide compound with a nitric oxide-contg. gas using each specific cobalt compound and silicon compound in a hydrocarbon solvent.

CONSTITUTION: The objective compound(s) of formula V and/or formula VI can be obtained by the reaction between (A) an α,β-unsaturated amide compound of formula I (R1 and R2 are each H or 1-10C alkyl; R3 is H, lower alkyl, aryl, alkanoyl, etc.; R4 is H, lower alkyl or aryl; Where, R1 to R4 may be substituted) and (B) nitric oxide in the presence of (C) at least one of cobalt compounds of formula II (R5 and R6 are each alkyl; R7 is H, R5 or R6; (n) is 2 or 3) and formula III (R8 is alkyl), respectively, and in the coexistence of (D) at least one of silicon compounds of formula IV (R9 is n-lower alkyl or aryl; R10 is H or R9; R11 is H or n-lower alkyl) in a hydrocarbon catalyst.
