Abstract:
To produce an aniline derivative in good operability on an industrial scale at a low cost without using a large amount of organic solvent.
The objective aniline derivative of formula III (Z1 is NHA or an alkoxy) is produced by reacting a solid benzoquinone compound of formula I (Y and Y' are each H, Cl or the like; X is Cl or the like; Z is Cl, an alkoxy or the like) with an aniline compound of formula II (A is a (substituted)phenyl) in an aqueous medium. The benzoquinone compound has an average particle diameter of 5-1,000 μm.
