Abstract:

To provide a production apparatus and method for a fiber-reinforced composite material, in which contamination of a reinforced fiber bundle with twists during transportation of the reinforced fiber bundle under connection from a bobbin to a core material is suppressed and also an equivalent tension is given to the reinforced fiber bundle, whereby reduction in strength of the reinforced fiber bundle during the transportation can completely be prevented and also scratches and breaking of the reinforced fiber bundle caused by scratching can also completely be prevented, and a pressure vessel.

The apparatus is constructed in such a way that a pair of fixing type guides (6, 7) is installed under fixing on a site for guiding a reinforced fiber bundle (30) immediately after extrusion from each bobbin (2) and a site at a down stream side therefrom, the apparatus is also installed under fixing with independently rotating guide rollers (16-20) for guiding independently the reinforced fiber bundle (30) from each guide (6, 7) at the transporting route of the reinforced fiber bundle from each bobbin (2) to the core material (5), and an integratedly rotating guide roller (21) is provided at the outlet part of a traverse part (4) placed adjacently to the down stream side of the core material (5).
