Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an artificial leather having natural furry appearance and touch without slipping the body by alternately arranging a part in which naps containing long and short specific naps mixed therein are tilted and shaped in the forward direction and a part in which naps are tilted and shaped in the opposite direction.
CONSTITUTION: In a furry napped fabric containing preferably thick and long bristles 2 composed of polyester-based fiber and fine and short downs 1 are mixed, a part in which the naps are tilted and shaped in the forward direction at 30-70° (θ) tilt angle and a part in which the naps are tilted and shaped in the opposite direction are alternately arranged over nearly the whole width of the fabric to form a stripe pattern. Thereby, the objective artificial leather having natural furry appearance and touch without slipping the body even when taking a seat. This fur is suitable as an upholstery, a vehicular seat covering material, etc.
