Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the image reflecting property of the surface of an austenitic stainless steel sheet produced by performing cold rolling (temper rolling) at a low draft after bright annealing.
CONSTITUTION: A bright-annealed steel strip, in which the crystalline grain size No. represented by JIS G 0551 and the center line average height of surface roughness (Ra) represented by JIS B 0661 are regulated to 7.3-10 and ≤0.157μm, respectively, is subjected to nonlubricating cold rolling under the condition of 0.5-1.5% draft. By this method, a product of austenitic stainless steel sheet, excellent in image reflecting property of surface, can be stably supplied.
