Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a back-lit sheet free from stitch deviation, with low stain, high in resin peel strength, and excellent in creep resistance.
SOLUTION: This sheet is obtained by applying a water repellent and a size on fabric composed of twistless or twisted warps comprising continuous polyester fibers and twisted wefts followed by forming a vinyl chloride resin layer thereon. Specifically, the fabric is applied with a sizing agent comprising 100 pts.wt. of the size and 2-15 pts.wt. of the water repellent followed by conducting on-machine drying to retain both stitch setting and water repellency of the fabric.
