Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the opening of both open ends and/or gussets of a cylindrical body during a cylinder supply process in a bottom finishing step by partially adhering inner surfaces of front and rear walls together within a central portion in a width direction of a cylinder before the cylinder supply process.
SOLUTION: Before a raw paper web 1 is formed into a cylindrical shape adhesive 4 is applied in a dot-like fashion on a side that constitutes an inner side at a body adhering portion 3 when the raw paper web 1 is formed into a cylindrical shape, i.e., a side opposite to a body glue 3a whereby the inner surfaces of front and rear walls are partially adhered to each other within a central portion in a width direction except for both gusset portions 6. Next, when forming the raw paper web is formed into a cylindrical body 5, a body glue is applied to the side of the raw paper web 1 that is overlapped from the outside. Then, while forming the web into a cylindrical shape having gusset portions 6 at both sides, after a body adhering process (3) is completed, the cylindrical body so formed is cut to a predetermined length to obtain a gusseted cylindrical body 5.
