PURPOSE: To provide a method enhancing the production efficiency of the β- aminoethyl acidic sulfuric ester, and corresponding to the increase of its production amount while contriving the saving of labor.

CONSTITUTION: The method for producing the β-aminoethyl acidic sulfuric ester contains a concentration process for thermally removing water from a hydrogensulfate aqueous solution containing 2-aminoethanol hydrogensulfate to produce the β-aminoethyl acidic sulfuric ester, and a slurrying process for diluting and/or cooling with diluting the esterification reaction solution to deposit the crystals of the β-aminoethyl acidic sulfuric ester, thus obtaining a slurry.
