PURPOSE: To obtain the subject sonorous beverage, having sweet flavor of honey nicely harmonized with fine flavor of black tea and suitable for any of soft drinks and hot drinks by extracting black tea leaves with an aqueous solution containing honey.

CONSTITUTION: Black tea leaves are extracted with an aqueous solution containing 1-50wt.% honey to afford the objective beverage. Furthermore, other glucides such as fructose, glucose, sucrose or maltose are preferably added to the aqueous solution of honey before or after the extraction.
