Abstract:

To provide a method for producing bleached pulp capable markedly cutting the quantity of bleaching chemicals to be used.

This method for producing bleached pulp comprises an alkaline oxygen bleaching followed by enzymatic treatment of unbleached pulp afforded by digesting lignocellulosic materials, and then subjecting the resultant pulp to multistage bleaching treatment; wherein just after the alkaline oxygen bleaching step, the resulting pulp is treated through providing prebeating processes such as refiner treatment and beater treatment.
