Abstract:
PURPOSE: To form a circular arc face of a required place without depending to machining of grinding, etc., in a time of producing a block for a transmission belt.
CONSTITUTION: This is a producing method of a block for a transmission belt, it is composed of a punching process to obtain a block semi product 5a of a prescribed shape by punching a metal material, and a swage forging process to press to the thickness direction with a punch by housing the block semi product 5a within a die. The block semi product 5a punched in the punching process is punched in a shape and dimension so as to surely keep prescribed clearances C1, C2, C3 between places 15b', 20', 21' to be formed to the thickness directional circular arc faces and an internal face of a die in the state of housing this block semi product 5a within the die 31, a part of the material of the block semi product 5a is bulged in a circular arc like inside the clearance, and the thickness directional circular arc face is formed.
