To provide a method for producing a bonding interlining cloth, capable of practicing uniform shrinkage of a polyester fiber fabric in the longitudinal and width directions without manifesting processing defects such as processing wrinkles or dyeing specks and having good resiliency and a low press shrinkage when bonded to a right side fabric.
A fabric is subjected to dry heat shrinking at a temperature therefor ≥60°C and not higher than the melting temperature and finish setting at a temperature therefore within the range of ≥1,300°C and below the dotting temperature by stretching the fabric at 0.5-10% in the width direction and/or the longitudinal direction in a method for producing a bonding interlining cloth comprising using a polyester fiber taken off at 2,000-4,000/min takeoff speed at the time of melt spinning of a polyester providing the fabric and carrying out the dry heat shrinking treatment, dyeing, finish setting and dotting finishing of the resultant fabric.
