To reduce a machining allowance on a forged surface in a producing method of a brass formed material by using the forging with punching.

In the producing method of the brass formed material provided with a first process, in which the brass material 12 is heated to a forging temp. and laid on a die 11, and a second process, in which punches 13, 14 are inserted to the brass material 12 laid on the die 11 and the brass material 12 is plastically deformed by recrystallizing and formed into a hollow shape, a heating means for heating the die 11, is provided and the heat-shrinkage of the brass material during punching is made small by reducing the temp. variation of the brass material 12 from the insertion to the takeout of the punches and also, regulating the draft angle of the punches 13, 14 to <1°, the machining allowance 16 in the forged surface can be reduced because of the small draft angle of the punches 13, 14.
