Abstract:
To provide a bright stock that is virtually free of cloudiness (or haze) after long-term storage.SOLUTION: A composition for lubricant base stocks produced from raw materials such as vacuum residual oil or other 510°C+ raw materials is provided. The raw materials can be de-asphalated, then are processed with a catalyst and/or are processed with a solvent, and the lubricant base stock containing a bright stock that is tolerant (or resistant) to cloudiness formation can be formed.SELECTED DRAWING: None
