Title:
PRODUCTION OF BUFFER MEMBER FOR VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3858946
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively cut extruded blanks to short lengths of parts and to produce buffer members for vehicles which are decreased in the variations of crushing load and have stable performance.
SOLUTION: An extruded aluminum pipe is subjected to reduction working by which its dimensional accuracy is improved. After the pipe is cut to the short member length, the cut members are subjected to an annealing treatment. The annealing is executed by perpendicularly erecting door damagers 1 in a box 2 to be exclusively used and aligning these damagers, placing the members in a furnace 3 and executing the annealing at the same chance as the chance for various other members 4.
