To simply produce a bulletproof glass at a low cost by placing a laminate prepared by laminating glass plates through adhesive sheets onto both sides of polycarbonate plates on a vacuum carriage, covering a rubber sheet from the upper side thereon, then evacuating the inside of the rubber sheet and subsequently introducing the vacuum carriage while maintaining the vacuum state into a heating furnace.
A laminate 20 prepared by laminating glass plates through adhesive sheets onto both sides of polycarbonate plates is placed on a vacuum carriage 1 and covered with a rubber sheet 4 from the upper side of the laminate 20 and the inside of the rubber sheet 4 is then evacuated. A vent port 7 set in an iron plate 5 on a lower frame 3 of the vacuum carriage 1 is connected to a vacuum pump. The vacuum carriage 1 is subsequently introduced into a heating furnace while maintaining the vacuum state thereof and uniformly heated. The uniform heating temperature is about 90 to 150°C. The adhesive sheet is preferably a constitution of adhesive/polyurethane resin sheet/adhesive and the adhesive preferably consists essentially of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer.
